Bio

Helen is a public health professional with a passion for data storytelling and knowledge sharing across communities and disciplines. Her work has spanned various fields, including nonprofits, biotech and pharmaceuticals, and startups and venture capital.

Before pursuing her MPH, Helen served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she managed several biomedical device studies. In this role, she particularly valued engaging with collaborators and patients to discuss cutting-edge scientific advancements and their potential impact.

Most recently, Helen worked with a team at UNC Chapel Hill and the Durham Public Housing community to understand mental health challenges and develop solutions. She also collaborated with the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center to evaluate the readiness of rural cancer clinics for expanding a centralized patient navigation program.

Helen holds a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University and an MPH in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
