Bio

Lauren has over 15 years of experience in foreign policy, development, and defense, working at the intersection of security and human rights. Through work at the U.S. Department of State, Capitol Hill, nonprofits, and think tanks, Lauren has implemented security and development programs, managed international educational programs, and conducted data-driven security assessments across the Middle East, North and West Africa, and beyond. Throughout her career in and outside of government, Lauren has looked for creative opportunities to define and incorporate best practices, forge consensus, and drive progress.
